PHYSIOTHERAPIST & YOGA TEACHER
Hannah Farmer is a Physiotherapist with a special interest in Women’s Health, a Pilates teacher and Yoga teacher. She gained her Pilates qualifications from The Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute and her Yoga qualification from Yandara Yoga.
Over recent years, Hannah has been a student of the Butterfly School; exploring women’s health and empowerment through Yoga-based movement, mudra and voice. She has integrated these philosophies to develop her own style. Hannah holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and has completed postgraduate education in pain management.
Hannah has worked within the NHS and private sector, providing physiotherapy care to both women and children. Her special interests include deep core strengthening and pelvic floor dysfunction (affecting mother), inter-uterine packaging defects (affecting mother and child). In her sessions, Hannah encourages her students to use creative art, mindful touch and embodied movement to digest the anatomy and physiology curriculum.
Hannah is one of the teachers on the Yoga Mama Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training course in Sheffield.
