Graham Hadley, Tai Chi TeacherGraham Hadley is a Tai Chi teacher at Yoga Mama. He is also a Chartered Physiotherapist at the Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy, with almost 30 years of clinical experience. Born in Ontario, Canada, Graham originally obtained a BSc. Hons in Chemistry. He then studied Shiatsu for two years with Mitsuki Kikkawa, a Japanese master, in Toronto. As his Shiatsu practice expanded, he added another technique to his therapeutic approach by studying craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute. After three years of practice, he decided to pursue a physiotherapy degree and graduated from the University of Toronto in 1994.

In 1995 he moved to Hawaii, where he founded his own company. He ran a very busy practice working with people injured in car accidents or at work and those in chronic pain. In 2009, he moved to London with his British wife. He treats a wide variety of sports injuries and those sustained through activities of daily living.

Graham uses a combination of physiotherapy, shiatsu and craniosacral techniques to get to the root of discomfort and to relieve pain. He enjoys the challenge of treating chronic pain, as well as headaches and migraines. He is fascinated by the mind/body relationship and the part it plays in recovery and resolution of pain.

Graham holds a black belt in Uechi-Ryu martial arts. He has also been teaching Tai Chi since 2016. In his spare time, he is a professional drummer, participates in Parkrun tourism, and helps his wife on their allotment.
